One Mug Wonders

In my daily Facebook surfing, I happened to come across some of those 30 second cooking tutorials, and I thought I’d try my hand at them (and make them vegan friendly)! I doubled each of the recipes to fit the huge mugs I used. Let this be a warning to you all, I couldn’t finished a full one. Do with that what you will.

The first one (right) is a chocolate chip muffin (or blueberry, raspberry, whatever you’d like to put in it). Simply mix all the ingredients together and top with the brown sugar. Then, pop it in the microwave for one minute, and presto! You’ve got yourself a mug muffin!

  • 4 tbsp. Flour
  • 2 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 3 tbsp. Milk
  • 1 tbsp. Veg oil
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • Some fruit
  • Brown sugar

The second (left) is a mug of banana cinnamon bread. Just like the other, mix all the ingredients together and microwave for one minute. Throw a little powdered sugar on top if you’re feeling extra fancy.

  • Half of a banana, mashed
  • 2 tbsp. Milk
  • 1/4 tsp. Baking powder
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp Brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 5 tbsp. Flour
  • 3/4 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp. Veg oil
